    OM SYSTEM OM-1

    How to book the lesson?

Go to my scheduling page or click the button below and choose the session time that suits best for you. You need the order number (from the confirmation email from OMDS) and your email. Fill in the form, and I will send you the link to the Zoom session about 10 minutes before it starts.

    Schedule Appointment

I will have several time options for you. More times will be added if necessary. There will be a maximum of 5 persons in one session.

    When to book?

The best time to book your lesson is after you have used the new camera a bit. You most likely have more questions.

What if the OM-1 is not in stock?

I know that there is a shortage of OM-1. The best way is to click the link below the price. Fill in your email, and OMDS will send you a notification email when OM-1 is back in stock.

By the way, the same code and lesson deal works for M.Zuiko 150-400mm f4.5 Pro lens! If you used the code and bought this lens send me a message directly

Disclaimer: The code is also an affiliate code. I do get a small commission if you use the code and buy OM SYSTEM OM-1. You will not pay any extra. It is a win-win situation!

  • Hope you are not feeling blue! 52 Assignments week 7: Blue

Hope you are not feeling blue! 52 Assignments week 7: Blue

This week’s assignment is simply blue or is it simple. I would say that these types of assignments are quite hard to master. Of course, a simple image where there is a lot of blues is one solution. To get a more interesting image that has a story might be a bit harder. Blue hour is also a good time to photograph this assignment.

    The meaning of blue

In a way, blue is a quite contradictory color. Blue symbolizes bravery and dedication. It also is a color of wisdom and deep understanding. On the other, it is also a color of depression.

    Fun facts about blue.

Blue is the most common favorite color. Seeing blue lowers our heart rate and blood pressure.

    What to look for?

Of course, the obvious and a bit easy solution is to look for blue objects. Blue sky, the sea are great subjects for this assignment. Most likely if photographed well images come out very nice. If that is not enough for you? Start looking for the meaning of blue. Then it opens up a whole new world. The article that I used as a source and inspiration for this blog post is an article in Sensational Color. If you want more depth info about the color blue read that blog post.

    The ultimate goal?

The ultimate goal is an image that is obviously blue but has no blue color in it. I know it is hard and if some can pull that off with an image that ticks all the boxes that a good image needs to have has done a magnificent job.

Remember that starting with an easier photograph is a wise thing to do. The theme will evolve in your head during the week. Do not rush to the first thing that comes to your mind and post the first attempt.

    What is 52 Asssignments?

It is my project to make you photograph more. Watch this video to find out more if you do not know what it is all about.
