    Many of us want to be better at photography. But how can we do that? Unfortunately, many photographers start looking for new gear. The brutally honest answer is that it is very seldom the right way.

    The last tip was about taking online classes. As you probably know I do offer one-on-one consulting. The one-hour session is tailored for you. I can help you with your camera, the settings, handling, etc. Even though the camera is not the way to be better it is still a very important thing to know your camera. That will help you to concentrate on the most important part, your image. When your camera is familiar to you it is a lot easier to concentrate on your vision. The camera is not holding you back.

    The future of Olympus – [What did Mr. Kataoka say at CP+?]

    CP+, one of the biggest photographic events started today in Japan OM Digital Solutions is also participating.

    Setsuya Kataoka, Chief Technology Officer gave a speech about the future of OMDS and Olympus.

    I think the message was very optimistic. The only downside was that he did not give any timetable on new products. Good thing is that there will be new products.
